"Are you even listening to yourself?" Ikal is another one of the demons, however unlike Kástike he's a manservant-although that is just a fancy term for a domestic slave-, and therefore has more contact with the Realm's society and internal structure. Due to the statal organization of the demons -that shall be talked about in another separate entry- Ikal and many others have contact with those working in construction or mining as well as those within societal roles and jobs. This perspective has deeply shaped who he is and his worldview, which can seem a bit cynical at first glance. To Ikal, a change is indeed in order, but he deems bloodshed unnecessary and strives to find a way to make the demon's voices heard without hurting the community. Using his airheaded and superficial façade to gain more knowledge about the Realm's internal structure, his intention is to find a crack that the demons can pressure into an opening for progress.
